Candle Holder Make Do Unique

#844

Regular price $59.95

This contemporary “make-do” candle holder is very unique and even though it is not old it certainly does have a great early look. I believe the decorative metal plate originally started life as a door knocker as noted by the top loop.

The incised decoration consists of a series of eight circles within a main circle. There is a delightful starburst pattern accenting some of the designs as shown. The dark appearance lends a great surface while the edges lend a folksy scroll and spike design.

Harry added a wooden base to accommodate a candle using old wood. Notched sides accept the iron ends of the plate as shown on the back. A candle cup painted in a nutmeg brown holds a candle (also included) that rests nicely on the wooden base. A cluster of autumn prairie flowers used as an accent add color and interest, also included.

This interesting candle holder can grace any wall in style lending charming results. It is a heavy piece. You can also substitute a battery operated candle if you so choose. Great piece that is absolutely one of a kind! Enjoy!

Stands 7 ¾” tall, measures 6 ½” across the front and measures almost 3 ½” deep (front to back). Candle and base stand 4” tall and measures 2 ¾” across the bottom.

~Freight (Standard Mail) included, however Insurance is optional and can be purchased @ checkout ~ within the continental U.S.
