Hooked Rug Folk Art Pumpkin Trio

This delightful, contemporary hooked rug has folk art inherent qualities as each pumpkin is dusted with an “offbeat” appearance that will just make you smile. Eyes and mouth’s were applied separately and certainly do lend plenty of character to each of the faces.

The center pumpkin sports a cream hue while his sister off to right was hooked in a variegated caramel mustard and brown spice color. The other sister pumpkin shows an array of crimson, nutmeg brown with whispers of soft rust incorporated in the variegated wool fabric. Each has a stem with a wispy vine located at the top.

The fabric of choice for the back is comprised of a herringbone tweed, boucle wool and colorful specks kissed by a rainbow are seemingly sprinkled on top. Very good condition without any holes, rips or stains to report.

Can be used as a table mat that lends creative building off of this focal point by way of gourds, pumpkins, bittersweet and an early candleholder placed nearby. This textile can also lend charming results to the inside of a cupboard mounted on the back with gleaming redware lining the shelf. Great decorating possibilities! Enjoy!
