Wonderful turn of the century open wall shelf having canted sides, in delicious red paint that also includes a contemporary painted mortar and pestle. All other items are for display suggestions and are not included. You can actually display the shelf from the single hole (as shown) or it can be turned upside down which allows for a taller back with a two hole hanging option. Generous display area in the middle with one shelf below. The top shelf also provides unlimited height for your primitive treasures.
There are a couple holes located on the left side edge that may indicate a suggestion of hinges for a possible door. A couple more holes located on ceiling of the middle shelf seem to be a mystery. Some minor paint loss on the bottom corners and side locations. A stabilized crack appears in the center and does run the full length on the back. Tiny round head nails were used for construction. A piece of wood is missing from the top edge and appears as a chip in the back as shown.
Mortar and pestle does have a nice worn appearance and the colors I chose blend in nicely with the paint on the cupboard. Great small size too! **Perfect display for holiday decorating filled with Putz Sheep, bottle brush trees and German lead reindeer along with other Putz accessories.** Enjoy!
Shelf stands almost 16” tall, measures 8 ½” across the front and is 4 ¾” deep. Middle shelf area measures 7 ¾” across, measures 5 ¾” tall and is 4 ½” deep. Smaller bottom shelf measures 7 ¾” across, measures 3 ¼” tall and is also 4 ½” deep.
