Late 1800's to Early 1900's Double Heart Tin Cake Pan Spring-form

#668

Sale price $75.00 Regular price $97.00

Cake Anyone? Pull up a chair, sit down and enjoy this delectable Chocolate Cake that was actually made in this double heart cake pan by my dear friend! Yum! The heart design on the cake is unique and the spring-form design allowed it to be removed easily. A small metal tab on the front just slides down and releases the two sides of the pan. The bottom is a separate piece and can be removed from the outside perimeter of the pan with the cake intact. Just slide a knife under the bottom of the cake, turn over and remove. Voila~!

Of course you could always use this piece as a interesting display item in your pantry or buttery too! Nice dark aged surface lends a neat primitive look and this cake pan can also be hung. There is a small wire loop in the front however the bottom is what will be seen. Very good condition as there are no dents or surface rust to report. I can just envision how many "huswifes" through the years, used this piece to turn out a cake that was not only delicious but pretty to serve at the same time.

This Heart cake pan has it all and will add whimsical charm to your pantry and your palette! Happy baking!
