Primitive Flag Holder Unique and One of A Kind

#689

Regular price $54.50

What a great way to add festivity and charm to your homestead with amazing results! The fourth of July is such a wonderful celebration of our independence that I believe one should capture this holiday spirit by enjoying several patriotic decorations in your home. This architectural, unknown piece, was my inspiration for creating a flag holder and boasts luscious dark patina!

Holes were drilled in this piece to accommodate the five flags positioned in a 90 degree angle. They can easily be removed for storage by gently pulling them out one at a time. The wee bird is dressed in patriotic fabric and is poking his head out to say hi. His wings are moveable but promises not to fly away!

The flag holder does have a couple tight age related cracks near the top and some of the wood is missing under the square holes but the dark surface prevails and is consistent throughout. A piece of wood was added to the hole located at the top to ensure the dowel on the flag would be secured by a snug fit once the hole was drilled. The flags have been gently aged lending a tea dyed appearance. A piece of homespun was used as a tie in the middle of the holder as an accent piece.

This one of a kind interesting holder will certainly add Americana charm to your homestead while creating enchanting whimsy that everyone can enjoy for this holiday and beyond! Enjoy!

This piece stands 18” tall, measures about 19” across the widest point (right flag end to left flag end). Flag holder itself stands 6 ¼” tall, measures 2” across the top and bottom. Overall height of the flags are 11” tall and fabric measures 5 ½” across (right to left) and is 3 ¾” tall.
