Bowl Shallow Form with Delicious Patina

#876

Regular price $115.50

This bowl sporting the most fabulous patina has great form because of the shallow size. The greens are included so this piece of treen can be set out and enjoyed as soon as it is received. It was fashioned from ash wood, is lightweight and dates from the mid to late 19th century. This piece may be European in origin and is a small size so if space in your home is at a premium you don’t have to worry about where to place it.

There is a crack that travels though the inside and bottom portion of the bowl as shown in images 3,4 & 6 but has darkened with age. A series of concentric circles appear at the bottom that lend plenty of charming character. There are a couple tiny chips present on the outermost edge.

This interesting bowl would make a terrific display piece anywhere of your choosing. You can use it in the privy by adding lye soap and a piece of homespun or what about on your nightstand to act as a catch all for jewelry or keys. It would also make a great addition to your existing collections of wooden-ware too! Enjoy!

Bowl measures 8 ¼” across (right to left), stands 2” tall and measures 7 ¼” across the bottom.

~Freight (Standard Mail) included, however Insurance is optional and can be purchased @ checkout ~ within the continental U.S.
