Blue and White Antique Stoneware Pitcher with Dutch Designs
This pretty blue and white stoneware pitcher stands 7" tall with a 4 12" diameter top (plus pouring spout). Sporting a Dutch windmill design on both sides and further molded detail, it is shaded with a darker blue at top and medium to darker blue below as seen in our photos. There are no cracks to report, but there is a small chip on the inside rim about 3/8" long (see image 6) and some pinpoint roughness near the top of the handle (as shown in image 3). We often use these pitchers for serving lemonade in summer or filled with tulips, roses, wildflowers, etc. The pitcher dates from the late 1800's to early 1900's and is just waiting to welcome Spring to your country home with a bust of cheerful color!
