❄️Bold and beautiful red and white quilt showing an Ohio Star pattern will certainly make a great statement either laying on your bed or hung on the wall. It is entirely hand-stitched, boasts strong color and dates to the turn of the century.

The red stars are set against an eggshell white ground and this design element is positioned at a diagonal slanted path compared to the commonly found square examples by adding plenty of vivid interest. There are areas at random showing stains on the front as well as the reverse. When the quilt is turned over there are distinct red stitches showing in a hit and miss pattern. This textile has a finished appearance executing a hand stitched herringbone pattern on the border using red thread against an off-white ground lending further detail that enhances the overall look.

No holes or rips are present and this quilt is in overall good condition as it shows well and is quite stunning. Perfect for holiday decorating and awaits a “Wow” from Santa come Christmas Eve! Enjoy!

Measures 82” by 77 ½”. ***Note: Will fit a Queen size mattress but may not have much overhang. You can always add a neutral off-white coverlet or duvet first and lay this on top for coverage. Could also be used to fold at the end of a bed combined with other layers of cozy throws and don't forget the coordinating accent shams or pillows to create an amazing bed ensemble!
