Dry Measure Williamsburg Christmas Inspired Tree

Williamsburg inspired decorated tree (lights up by way of a plug in cord), calls home in a contemporary dry measure that will add color and excitement to your kitchen. Dried oranges, apples, mixed nuts along with acorns act as special ornaments set against a brown primitive tree. Nut and acorn ornaments were tied with festive candy cane and red wool yarn while red fabric was chosen for the fruit.

The dry measure is comprised of a resin base made by the “Salem Collection” about 30 years ago and is no longer offered as they closed their doors. Wonderful detail and with the exception of the weight this measure has an very authentic look.

I used a half of a walnut shell to create a hanging candle holders that adds plenty of interest to the tree. Candles are made of beeswax which lends a warm, old fashioned and inviting appearance. Large pinecone ornaments offer a rustic outdoor look while adding natural texture tied with crimson red yarn.

This one of a kind tree would be a perfect fit in a kitchen, pantry or can be placed on a table in the dining room to add a festive touch for that special Christmas Eve dinner. Enjoy!

Overall height 23 ½” tall, measures 11” across @ the widest point. Dr measure stands 6 ¾” tall, measures 6” across the top opening and the bottom.
