Wagner Corn Mold with Decorative Corn Cobs

🌽 This was a very unusual find as most “Wagner” corn molds have seven wells compared to this example that only has five. Dried Indian corn is also included and makes for a wonderful presentation for fall decorating.

Apparently, someone cut this mold down on both sides rendering five sections as both handles are missing as well. It may have been damaged or may have sufficed for a smaller family. We will never know but the size is smaller and a much better fit for display purposes where space is limited.

Corn mold shows a patent date of “July 6, 1920” and is also marked “Krusty Corn Cobs” on the bottom location. Inside has blackened with age and is a great backdrop for the corn each wrapped in burlap and accented with broom corn. Mold measures 8 ½” across, stand ¾” tall and measures 6” front to back. Corn stands 9 ¼” tall and 3” across (husk) @ the widest point. One corn is a little smaller.
