Gourd jar with old stoneware lid and hanging gourd spoon is one of our unique creations presented for autumn but can be displayed all year long. Earthy colors sprinkled through the mottled appearance make for a special piece that would be a great fit for your buttery or pantry.
The tan stoneware lid shows a speckled brown color variation that matches the colors in the gourd. There is a small crack dedicated to the edge as shown as well as several minor tiny chips. The miniature gourd hangs freely from the edge dressed in broom corn and tallow berries.
This interesting gourd jar is one of a kind and displays quite well with primitive antiques. The bottom is not entirely flat so you may have to position this piece with a little patience but once this is done the jar will behave. Enjoy!
Jar stands almost 7” tall, top opening measures 3” across and measures 3” across the bottom. Lid measures almost 3 ½” across.
