19th Century Woodland Pine Cone and Fabric Wall Pocket

#873

Regular price $98.50

Unique 19th Century woodland Pine Cone and fabric Wall pocket filled with festive holiday accents including a hand fashioned snowman, faux greens and a bottle brush style tree that are all removable. Fabric is comprised of a fugitive blue, violet and grey ticking completely hand – stitched covering a soft board added for stiffness.

Some stains are present in the form of indigo blue paint mixed in with vestiges of age related brown spots along with light toning. It appears each “cone scale” was hand stitched on the front of the pocket while the double pine cones take center stage in the middle.

Small tears in the fabric are also present but are limited to the back. Hanger does not exist but a simplistic wooden easel is included for display purposes. Perfect for a nightstand in the bedchamber with perhaps red mittens laid under the opening of the easel.  After the holidays you can remove the greens and snowman and replace with roving wool and small sewing collectibles.  Enjoy!

Overall height including the easel is 9 ¼” tall and measures 5 ½” across the front of the easel. Wall pocket itself stands 7 ¼” tall and measures 3 ¾” across the front pocket.

~Freight (Standard Mail) included, however Insurance is optional and can be purchased @ checkout ~ within the continental U.S.
