We are offering a pair of antique butter molds that have been in our collection for many years. The larger is just under 5" high x 4" diameter at the base. It is in a dry attic finish and features a floral design. There is an old repair evident on the backside which is completely tight -- no movement at all here. The small mold is about 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/4" diameter at base. It's in excellent condition with a light varnish finish and good color. The last picture (image 4) appears to show a greenish stain or blotch on the back of this piece but it is just a bounce-back from our flash camera and there is no discoloration. The deeply-carved design seems to either be a wreath of wheat or acorn pattern.
