Holiday Winter Basket with Snowman Holly Muffin Greens

*Gift Alert!* Joyous holiday decorated winter basket delights us with unique and special accents placed inside that are all included with this purchase. My inspiration for this gathering was a varied splint woven basket dating from the late to early turn of the century.

The wider splints are darker in color compared to the contrasting lighter hue which presents a gentle two toned appearance. Some of the splints have experienced tight age cracks on the front. Near the bottom on the right hand side one splint shows wood loss. Two splits are present just below the nails used to secure the handle. There are also light water stains on the inside bottom area. Overall good condition and shows well.

An early coverlet piece was laid inside the basket and adds color and interest for the contents which include a 1940’s Snowman Pepper Shaker marked “Japan”, greens with berries, decorative muffin with holly and berry accents, slitted lime with red calico fabric, two large pod balls with a red wash and a beechnut pod from our farm.

Perfect to present as a gift basket for that special friend or can be a keeper for you. Would look beautiful on a small table or candlestand. It can also be set out on your holiday table for your family and friends to admire. Enjoy!

Overall height including the handle is 9” tall, measures 8” across the top (right to left), measures 7 ¼” front to back, measures 6 ¼” across the bottom (left to right) and measures 5” front to back.
