I was just so excited when I happened to find this lone red shoe and wanted to save this for the holidays! The burgundy red color could not be better and the scuff marks and light cracks in the leather add so much character! The soles are in good condition however there is one button missing at the top which warranted a "make ~ do" repair… so I hand ~ stitched this up using black thread and it certainly did the trick!
I decided to add some artificial greens, dried berries and buttermilk colored pods that lend an olde ~ fashioned touch of Christmas to this shoe.
You can set this on top of some old school books, or on a candle stand which will lend charming results or you can place this in a cupboard too! Just a wonderful little shoe that will flatter your homestead with the primitive spirit of Christmas on its way! Enjoy!
Shoe measures almost 5" from toe to heel, stands 7" tall & measures 1 3/4" across the widest point in the front.
