Antique Tin Cookie Cutters Heart Shape Strap Handle Collection Nice

#224

Regular price $58.00

These cookie cutters which were often used in early kitchens offer a heart shaped pattern that is not only attractive but seems to make the cookies taste so much better too! All of the cutters were handmade by a tinsmith back in the late 1800's and strap handles have been soldered to the heart base.

The tin has a dark appearance that only time can create and the sizes all compliment each other. The large and small heart cutters have an elongated primitive shape and are taller than the last cutter. This last cutter has more of a round heart shape and the handle is taller than the other two companions. The smallest cutter does have a little separation at the point where the tin is joined at the seam. Only the largest heart cutter has a small piece of wire running horizontal at the top held together by glue so it can be hung.

All of these cutters are in great condition as there are no creases in the tin or breaks in the solder either. The handles are all secure. Country heart pieces are always so collectible as they add so much charm in a home especially in the pantry! Enjoy!

The largest heart measures 3 1/2" from the top of the heart to the bottom point, 2 1/2" across the widest area and 2 1/4" Tall including the handle, 1 1/8" without. The second cutter is 3" from the top of the heart to the bottom point, 2 3/4" across the widest area and 2 1/2" Tall including the handle, 1/2" without. The last and smallest cutter measures 3" from the top of the heart to the bottom point, 2 1/4" across the widest area and 2 1/4" Tall including the handle, 1 1/4" without.
