This darling kitty cat is looking for a wonderful home where she will be cherished and adored as she has had a hard life. “Miss Emma” is a survivor as her little tail and ear have been affected by numerous fights with other cats that were jealous of her beauty. In turn, she developed strength and beauty within that is apparent in her personality that reflects her determined character.
Miss Emma dates from 1899 to 1927 and is of the purebred “Steiff” family that has German roots even though her identification tag is missing. An air brush technique carefully applied lending a “hit and miss” black stripped pattern set against a rust and light tan ground are features “Steiff” is known for. She also does not sit perfectly straight as she tends to favor her left side but can sit up by herself...... thank you very much!
Miss Emma sports an old red collar with a bell (not original) that I outfitted her with to keep track of her whereabouts. You see she tends to wonder while investigating her surroundings so she feels safe. Her hand stitched nose and mouth are intact but her whiskers are missing. Miss Emma is free of stains and odors.
This little kitty would love to find a home where other animals are accepting of her. She does not ask for much but is very receptive to kind words, a gentle stroke on her head as well as a bowl of warm milk and a soft place to sleep! Miss Emma will award you in return with soft purrs and a thankful smile on her face! Enjoy!
Miss Emma stands 4 ¼” tall (from the tip of her right ear to the bottom of her leg), measures almost 2 ½” across the bottom (front to back) and measures 1 3.4” across (horizontal) hind legs area.
