Vintage Decorative Doll Chair in Buttermilk Paint Great Form

This wonderful doll chair has plenty of detail yet is simple in form. The arms and legs have a ribbed spiral pattern that lends interest to the overall look of this piece. The back has three wooden dowels secured by a thicker piece of wood that has a curved design.

The 1/4" seat rests upon two dowels to add strength and durability while the three stretchers secure the legs. The right arm does have a little end play as it just needs a tiny bit of glue to hold it in place. There is a split on the right front leg as can be seen in images 4 & 5 however the leg is still strong and the stability of the chair is not at all effected by this. The back of the chair does have a small portion of paint loss and reveals a nice putty color that has some crazing from age. There is also a small chip on the edge of the back upper chair rest.

The chair measures 15 1/4" Tall including the height of the finials, 6" across the outside edge of the legs & 6 1/4" Deep. The Chair Seat is almost 5" across & 6 1/8" Deep.
