Poliwoggs Candy Container Snowman

❄️ Wonderful Poliwogg depicting a candy container in the form of a snowman sporting recessed eyes and mouth that lend a dimensional look. Poliwoggs was a line of American folk-art figures created in the 1990s and early 2000s by artists David Critchfield and Vic Fortunato. This inspired piece was created later and marked, “American Folk Art Poliwoggs collectibles” on the bottom.

Mr. Snowman is just bursting with character as noted on his smiling face that will create fun and whimsy wherever he is placed. Some of the paper below his neck that connects to a hole provided in the body is torn at the bottom. He also has a very light stain on the right side of his face as shown. The entire body is covered in sparkling white glitter that will pick up any reflected light. His hand painted facial features are splendid and adds to his personality in a big way.

You can place him beside a tree with other snow fellows that will make for a grand holiday display. He can also be tucked in a cupboard or placed on your holiday table that will surely be a hit with your guests and the little ones. I get a lot of mileage from collecting snowman as they can be displayed all winter long after the holiday season has ended. Enjoy!
