Wooden Pail Bucket filled with Autumn Pleasantries

#853

Regular price $159.50

Charming bucket filled with autumn pleasantries awaits a cozy table or a cupboard. Pail dates from the turn of the century to 1920 and shows a light appearance that is a perfect backdrop for the fall items housed inside.

Double metal bands secured by rivets have left a lasting impression bleeding though the wood as noted on the bottom. Helper nails were added long ago to secure the bands as shown. Separation has occurred in the front between the staves but the bucket is still tight without any play. Handle moves freely. Minor chips to top edge but no cracks to report.

A beeswax pumpkin with a tall stem, beeswax blackened corn cobs, pods, quince, gourds along with corn shucks grace the top of the pail lending fall color, texture and interest. The pail is of the smaller variety and is lightweight as well. You can also add a tree inside the bucket for holiday decorating or what about placing a variety of butter prints inside for non-seasonal decorating. Enjoy!

Overall height including the handle is 9” tall, bucket by itself stands 6 ¼” tall, measures 7 ¼” across the top and measures 5 ½” at the bottom.

~Freight (Standard Mail) included, however Insurance is optional and can be purchased @ checkout ~ within the continental U.S.
