Carved German Breadboard and Turkey Candle Gathering

šŸ¦ƒ Happy Thanksgivingā€¦ā€¦ This next offering would make a great addition to your holiday table and includes an antique German carved breadboard, turkey candle as well as the festive autumn decorations placed on the board.

The intricate carvings on this round board are wonderful and include an array of floral and foliate design elements not to mention the bold letters. The warm patina is amazing lending a crushed walnut hue. There is a long consistent crack that has been repaired as shown on the back. The board is somewhat sturdy but care should be taken when handling. There are no chips to report.

The battery operated candle that comes with a burlap mat was accented with a reproduced label showing a turkey out in the field with a house in the distance. Pumpkins dot the landscape while suggested autumn foliage brings earthy color to the scene. Label is backed with orange calico that has a broom corn accent tied at the top left corner. Candle has an ā€œon and offā€ switch as well as a timer function.Ā  It accepts three triple A batteries (not included). The soft glow enhances the appearance of the overall look.

An array of delightful faux autumn leaves, pumpkins, acorns, beechnut pods and gum balls add outdoor elements all presented on top of the board. This gathering would add plenty of interest to either your holiday table or can be placed on a counter in your kitchen or pantry. It is sure to receive compliments from your guests come Thanksgiving Eve! Enjoy!

Breadboard measures 11 Ā¾ā€ across (right to left), measures 11 Ā½ā€ top to bottom and is Ā¾ā€ tall. Candle stands 6ā€ tall (back location, stands 5 Ā½ā€ tall (front location) and measures 3ā€ across the top as well as the bottom.
