Just in time for Valentine's Day, this fabulous early 1900's Primitive Tin Heart mold promises to be a special addition to your collection! Boasting eight individual connected hearts, this hard to find piece is really exceptional! This is marked "GE" with "Austria" underneath as shown in image 7. The second tube has a incised "77" with number 1 just underneath.
The dark surface wear, always sought after, lends an early look and the condition is very good without any issues to report. There is a small area on the outside tube where a piece of clear glue can be seen. Please see image 6.
Three pieces were made to complete this mold. One in the center which includes the open tube that connects the hearts with eight pointed sections. These lay flat on the inside of the tin and secure the heart counterparts below. The side of the mold is the second part and lastly the top hearts equal the third piece as mentioned earlier.
There is a convenient little ring that can be used for hanging too! This would be such an awesome piece to add to your tinware collection and will offer years of enjoyment every time you look at it! Enjoy!
