Bold and strong graphic Colgate Advertising Ad mounted under glass and framed depicting a fireplace where gay stockings are hung. Back is dated “1916”. A jolly Santa’s face graces the upper corners while a sprinkling of other products in their line work their way on top of the mantle and the sides of the fireplace advertised as gifts. More detail is provided for each product on the bottom of the ad.

A cluster of scratches though hard to detect are located on the bottom corner (left hand side) as shown in image 7. The sirocco type frame reinforced with nails has glorious raised detail lending a broken cable design. A series of chips can be found on the upper left hand corner as referenced in image 19. Fun piece for holiday decorating!

Measures 14 3/4" across, 10 3/4" tall and is 3/4" deep.
