Early Tin Bucket with Santa Candle and Old Nutmeg Grater
Happy Holidays to you and your family! If this offering does not bring holiday cheer to your heart and home, I don't know what will! LOL! I was able to find a wonderful tin bucket that sports a nice bail handle. I added greens, berries, a beeswax Santa candle housed in an old fluted tart tin filled with wee pine cones, an old spice bottle filled with cornflower blue poppy seeds, cinnamon sticks, a chenille candy cane sprinkled with Mica, a wooden spoon and lastly an unusual antique primitive nutmeg grater with the lid intact.
This piece looks just awesome lit because it also comes with a strand of lights. The bucket stands 7" Tall, and is 9" across the top and bottom diameter. Overall height is 14" Tall which includes the beeswax Santa Candle.
You can certainly take out the contents after the holidays and fill the bucket with birds nests for spring, fresh flowers, and gourds would also look great all year round! In image 4 there is a small solder mark present on the outside of the bucket but the inside is perfectly smooth and there is no indication that whatever repair was made effected the integrity. The dark surface wear shown on the bucket is "right as rain" and lends such a primitive look! Fabulous for the holidays and will definitely add that special magic to your homestead wherever it is placed! Enjoy!
