The autumn season lending vibrant color also brings crisp cool weather that may lead to creating a warm fire during the evening hours. Of course, with the cooler weather it seems a great time to get busy in our kitchens and start baking once again. This next offering was once used to bake tarts sporting twelve fluted wells that will certainly render deliciousness attractively set out on a table for all to enjoy.
The baking tin is comprised of twelve cups that have been riveted to the back plate. There are a couple small creases or slits on the left hand side near the edge as noted in images 11 & 12. Some light and minimal surface rust also appears at random inside the wells (cups). The overall condition is good and the dark presence from the age old patina is wonderful!
This baking tin may have possibly been used in a commercial bakery because of the size. What a great display piece that would look amazing hung on a wall in your country kitchen or can also be used as a festive candle presentation for the holidays placed on your table as shown in the last picture. This is just a great versatile piece with wonderful display opportunities for each holiday and beyond! Enjoy!
Baking tin measures a generous 14 ¼ tall, measures 10 ½” across (right to left and is 1” deep.
