Primitive Whisk Broom Okra Oranges Cinnamon Sticks for Your Pantry

#374

Regular price $29.50

Whisk brooms have become a primitive staple and we can't seem to get enough of them as the colors vary as well as the sizes. This brown sorghum whisk broom would look awesome in your pantry or buttery as the dried accents make this piece very special and unique.

I chose the dried okra grown on a East Coast farm, orange slices, cinnamon sticks and rose hips because of the nice colors they lend and really seem to compliment the broom quite nicely. I covered the cap on the broom with cheesecloth and also used this to wrap the handle. There is an area where the stitching has come apart as shown in image 5 on the back however the drieds cover up this area in the front. Other than that this broom is in very good condition and I think the wire wrapped handle lends so much character to the overall look.

I can just envision this broom hung from a pantry cupboard or even in the middle of a tall apothecary as shown in this gallery shot. If you want something different for your homestead that will add a little color and charm then this piece was tailor made for you! Enjoy!

The overall height is 11" tall from top of the handle to the tip of the longest okra pod, it is 5" across from the first okra pod on the left to the right edge of the broom & is 2 1/2" deep from front to back.
