Unusual Maple Sugar Mold Wheat Pattern

Unique maple sugar mold dating from the 20th century sporting a glorious wheat pattern. This pair joins together by way of two short pegs on the first half compared to twin holes on the other receiving half.

The intricate carved design showing a sheath of wheat on both pieces evokes rich patina. One of the halves is stamped, “Made in England” as referenced. There are some dark areas on the back of the second mold as well as the edge along with some light surface scratches. No chips or cracks to report.

They are of the smaller variety and would look perfect inside a bowl laden with other carved stamps creating a nice display on a kitchen counter or can be placed inside a small cupboard too as the bottoms are flat. Enjoy!

Stands 2” tall, (Both halves joined) measures 1 ½” deep and measures almost 2 ¼” across.
