🦃 Nice stoneware vintage baking dish (“Pampered Chef”) filled with autumn accents including a “Gurley” turkey candle that would make a stunning presentation for all who gather around the holiday table. The baking dish has a gentle two toned appearance as the defined rim shows a warm nutmeg hue while the body sports a mustard / tan color lending darker areas sprinkled throughout. This piece of stoneware is in great condition without any chips or cracks to report. It is a heavy piece and does show evident surface wear on the inside bottom area as the coloration is pale.
An array of colorful faux autumn leaves, wheat, corn, lone gourd and pumpkin, gum balls, as well as a miniature antique tin food mold (marked England) and cookie cutter in the shape of a bird grace the inside. An old fluted tart tin placed on the bottom of the dish elevates the turkey so he has a birds eye view, (no pun intended) of the “comings and goings”. He is quite happy with his surroundings and promises not to make too much noise at your table. All items are in good overall condition.
A piece of calico material showing a dark chocolate brown ground with a flurry of scattered maple leaves drapes over the front of the dish. This delightful gathering can also be set out on the kitchen counter or in your pantry to help celebrate this special time of year where guests and family gather for a feast and to give thanks for all blessings. Enjoy!
